CONSULTATION

Before you can book a surgery date, it’s important to undergo a consultation with Dr. Oya. This consultation is crucial to assess your needs and provide a price quote for the operation.

To prepare for the consultation, we recommend that you consider your wishes and expectations. Also, write down all your symptoms and health history, including a timeline, medications, and health history. Have a list of questions ready and inform us about your health problems. Read through your medical records and bring a copy to the consultation. You can also bring pictures to show examples of your desires:

During the consultation, you and Dr. Oya will go through your wishes, conditions, and limitations. All the information you provide is important to ensure your safety and care. Also, make sure you inform us about any medications, supplements, and health products you use. Dr. Oya and/or an anaesthetist will decide if you should take these medications on the day of the operation.

Dr. Oya will also perform an examination during the consultation and, in some cases, take photographs of you. Sometimes, more questions may arise after a consultation, but we are here to answer them by phone or email. If you have many concerns and questions, we recommend you visit us again and bring your queries to the next visit.

BOOK/CANCEL

To improve the experience for our patients, we have made it easy to book or cancel an appointment with us. You can book an appointment by calling us at 08-219191 or sending an email to info@strandkliniken.se. We respond to all emails within 24 hours on weekdays, excluding holidays.

If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact us at least one day before your scheduled visit time, whether you call us or send an email. We want to ensure that you have the opportunity to receive the care you need when it suits you best.
