Consultation:
- Before scheduling surgery, a consultation with our surgeon is essential for assessment and pricing.
- Prepare by:
- Reflecting on your expectations and desires.
- Documenting your symptoms, medication, and health history for a systematic discussion.
- Preparing a list of questions.
- Informing about your health and any medical conditions.
- Bringing any relevant medical records and photographs as examples.
- Considering bringing a friend for support.
During the consultation, you and the surgeon will discuss your wishes, thoughts, conditions, and limitations. The information you provide is crucial for safe care delivery, especially regarding diagnoses, previous surgery complications, and medication use. Your surgeon and/or anesthetist will review your medication list and decide its usage on the surgery day.
